We had the master thesis presentation on 6th Feb. 2020. Mr Okamura, M2 of our lab., made his presentation entitled “Study on Routing Protocols for Heterogeneous IoT Networks”. Other two M2 students from Kato Lab., Mr Tasaki and Mr Bai, also made their presentations.
On November 21 and 22, Ms. Haruyama (Kato Lab.) gave her talk (Title: An Experimental Study on Congestion Control for Multipath TCP and Conventional TCP) at the IEICE CQ/NS/ICM/NV Conference held at Kobe University (Hyogo Pref.). The presentation was about experimental results on MPTCP (Multipath TCP) networks with conventional single-path TCP.
International Conference VTC2019-Fall was held from 22nd to 25th, September 2019 in Honolulu, HI, the U.S.A. and I made a research presentation entitled “Adaptive Contents Dissemination Method for Floating Contents”. This presentation gives an improved effective radius adjustment and transmission timing control method to suppress excess contents dissemination maintaining the actual lifetime of contents for… Read more Research Presentation (VTC2019-Fall)
I made an invited talk in IEICE CQ Conference held in Hakodate Arena, Hokkaido. The talk theme is “Dynamic routing for Wireless Multihop Networks” and I had introduced some of my research, especially on Opportunistic Routing.
We held an annual joint summer seminar at International Seminar House, NII. In this seminar, professors and students from Niigata University, Waseda University and Shibaura Institute of Technology made their research presentations and undergraduate students from Kato/Yamamoto Lab. also made their presentations.
ICCE-TW ( IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics -Taiwan) was held from 20th to 22th May in Yilan, Taiwan, and Mr. Okamura (M2) made his research presentation entitled “Opportunistic Routing for Heterogeneous IoT Networks”. This presentation gives a novel routing protocol for large-scale IoT networks which is required to use multi-hop technology for mutual communication… Read more Research Presentational (ICCE-TW 2019)
In 4th and 5th March, Mr. Okamura made his presentation (title: Opportunistic Routing for Heterogeneous IoT Network) in IEICE NS/IN Conference held in Okinawa Convention Center (Okinawa Pref.). The presentation was about a novel routing protocol for heterogeneous IoT networks with opportunistic routing strategy.
